King Arthur (Book II, Chapter 6): "Why can’t you harness Might so that it works for Right?… The Might is there, in the bad half of people, and you can’t neglect it."

Arthur is a king worth remembering not for his heroism or his military exploits, but because he recognizes that all people have a good side and a bad side. He wants to use people’s bad sides for the common good. For example, knights who long to fight will still be able to fight, but they will fight against those who do evil deeds rather than fight for its own sake.

Watch this video and think about Arthur as a leader.

Then using the quote above, write a TIQATIQA paragraph that answers this question:

How does Arthur want to be remembered as a leader?

Make sure you break the quote into two parts so that your paragraph has two quotes. That way your paragraph will follow:

Topic Sentence: Answer the question.
Introduce the Quote: Do not just put the quote. Who is saying this quote?
Quote: weave it into your sentence.
Analyze the Quote in two sentences. How does that quote explain the topic sentence?
Transition into next quote (Also, In addition, Another, Furthermore, Therefore, However)
Introduce next quote (this can be part of your transition sentence)
Quote: second quote (should be woven into your sentence)
Analyze the Quote in two sentences. How does this quote further explain the topic sentence?

"Power is of the individual mind, but the mind's power is not enough. Power of the body decides everything in the end, and only Might is Right."

The great pike, king of the fish in Sir Ector's moat, speaks these words to the Wart in chapter 5. Using the TIQATIQA format we reviewed in class, write a paragraph that answers this question: What does this message teach Arthur about leadership?
